SalaryMan

User Agreement

SalaryMan estimates your earnings from numbers you type in yourself. It is not payroll software, and the amounts it shows are not your actual pay. The news summaries and market prices on its Home page are general information, not advice.

1. Acceptance

By using SalaryMan you agree to this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. What SalaryMan Is

SalaryMan is a personal tool that shows, in real time, roughly how much you have earned so far this month. It works entirely from figures you enter yourself: your monthly pay, your working hours, your fixed costs, and any days you mark as leave.

It is a way of seeing your work in motion.

Its Home page also shows a short briefing of world news and a board of market prices. Sections 5 and 6 cover those.

3. What SalaryMan Is Not

This section matters more than the rest. Please read it.

• SalaryMan is not payroll software. It has no connection to your employer, your HR system, or your bank.

• The amounts shown are estimates calculated from what you typed. They are not your actual pay.

• Your real pay is determined solely by your employer and your employment contract. It will differ from what this app shows, because the app does not account for taxes, social insurance, overtime, allowances, deductions, or rounding.

• SalaryMan does not provide financial, tax, accounting, legal, or employment advice.

• Do not rely on SalaryMan for any decision that matters. Check your payslip.

4. Your Figures

You are responsible for the numbers you enter and for keeping them current. SalaryMan has no way to verify them, and it will faithfully calculate from whatever you give it.

5. News and Market Information

The World Brief is a short summary of public news. The summaries are written automatically by an AI system from the headlines of the news organisations named under each item. No human editor checks them. They can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Follow the link to the original reporting before relying on anything you read there.

Market prices and charts are shown for general information only. They may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and they may stop being available at any time. They are not suitable for trading. A chart page you share shows the figures as they were when the link was made, not current prices; the page says so.

The reference figures shown for a company (such as its price-to-earnings ratio, net margin, or dividend yield) are reproduced as published by the market-data source, without checking or comment. They are facts about the company as reported, not a judgement about its shares, and SalaryMan does not rate, rank, or recommend any security. Where the app shows what a share price would be at a range of price-to-earnings multiples, that is simple arithmetic on the published earnings per share; the multiples are arbitrary reference points, not forecasts, valuations, or price targets.

Nothing in SalaryMan is investment, financial, or trading advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. SalaryMan does not know what you own, and it never relates the news or the markets to your own money.

The names of news organisations, companies, indices, and other marks belong to their respective owners. SalaryMan is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of them.

We may change, suspend, or remove the news and market features at any time.

6. Third-Party Websites

The links under each news item open the original article on the publisher’s own website, inside the app. Those websites are not ours. Their content, their availability, their terms of use, and their privacy practices are their own responsibility.

Some publishers ask you to register or pay before you can read a full article. Whether you do is entirely between you and that publisher. SalaryMan takes no part in, and receives nothing from, any such arrangement.

The Ask AI button opens ChatGPT (a service of OpenAI) or Claude (a service of Anthropic) with the figures from that page typed in as a question. Those services are not ours. What you ask there and what they answer is between you and them; SalaryMan takes no part in it, receives nothing from it, and their answers are not advice from SalaryMan.

7. License

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SalaryMan on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. No Warranty

SalaryMan is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, SalaryMan — including any decision made in reliance on the figures, news summaries, or market information it displays.

10. Money

SalaryMan does not hold, move, or process money, and it cannot be used to trade. It contains no purchases and no subscriptions.

11. Changes

This agreement may be updated. The revised version will appear in the app and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use SalaryMan after an update means you accept the revised agreement.
